NEW TRYOUT SYSTEM...this is what is going to look like...We will have Team Captains which will choose their teammates. Seems simple and it is. This way the team you lead or are apart of works to the best of its abilities. Simply trying people out and designating to a team is not good for the team but more of a liability to the fate of a team. Now, how do we get Captains...? Simple, stay active, prove you are willing and able to lead a team, be nominated for a position, or simply be instated by me or any other approved administrator.
Who can a Team Captain choose to be on a team? Well again, its easy. If the person is a member of this clan and no other, not a member of another FEAR team and is willing and able to play around the Captain and his/her team's schedule.
To make recruiting easy: Each established Team will have a section in the forums to hold their individual tryouts, practices, clan matches and of course recruiting. The Team Captain will have access to edit this board to accommodate for his/her team's needs. This also brings me to the rank of Recruiter...the only way a member can become a Recruiter is to be instated by the Team Captain and approved by an Overlord. So if you are a Captain choose your Recruiter wisely.
The Recruiter: A recruiter has the duty of answering request to be on his/her specific team. This person also has the duty of advertising the clan to outside Halo 3 gamers who seem interested in joining a competitive team/clan. A Recruiter must tryout all applicants and approve only those who have qualified for this specific team.
The Team: NOTE: A Team can consist of more than 4 players...and in most instances will. Thats pretty much all I need to say...but there is one BIG note I must make...Keep the team within the clan...Now what does this mean? Don't play clan matches or have clan practices with non-clan members. And also get other members of the clan involved with your team not just friends of yours because then it just becomes a private team.
...But if we are all broken into teams than what team is the FEAR team? Again simple...Teams will all represent the FEARclan. Each team will have its own name for example...FEAR Vicious or FEAR Recon. These names brand your team and also recognize the clan. Now for bigger events such as GameBattles, we will be able to set up more than one team for the free online ladders but as for the Award Ladders we will create ONE Elite team (consists of High skilled, Team based, Well communicating, coordinated, dedicated, etc...gamers.) Individuals will be chosen by designated FEAR GB Committee.
